This Kandla Grey sandstone has been honed and sawn. This proccess leaves the stone smooth with straight uniform edges. This sandstone is the same as the Kandla Grey only it has had finishes applied to it.

Kandla or Grey sandstone contains natural iron which may oxidise and appear as brown marks. This may never occur, if it does occur there are products that can help remove it or it can be left to fade itself and it may affect some flags more than others. The iron is normally found within grey sandstone from any supplier and is not classed as a fault.
